- Guy in Green
(I forgot his name)
Seeing you again is the refreshment I badly needed,
With all these long tests and a hellish weekend.
Thanks, finally, the agony has ended.
Shame I forgot your name.
All I remember is your face, and that activity
giving us a minute of fame.
You were that guy in class
who always says “game!”
If only I could come close and ask,
“Hey, what’s your name again?”
T’was in Berch two-oh-nine
And of course it would always be class time.
One semester of giddy afternoons.
Just looking at you makes me float in the moon.
Now we sit beside each other in the library,
Two tables at the end of the aisle, it’s like destiny.
Can’t concentrate as I study Molecular Biology,
Dunno but it feels like you’re also looking at me.
Yeah maybe it’s just I, and my heart that leapt suddenly.
But what the hell, I have a good feeling about you and me.
Okay I know this is a weird poem. Saw it at the back of my Philo hand out, and dates back to 15th of July 2010. As far as I can remember, I was so kilig back then, to the point that I was able to, yes, write a poem. The rhymes are grade school, and the content, high school. Happy crush lang. Forgive the immaturity.
